CCNP Security Certification
CCNP Security certification program is aligned specifically to the job role of the Cisco Network Security Engineer responsible for Security in Routers, Switches, Networking devices and appliances, as well as choosing, deploying, supporting and troubleshooting Firewalls, VPNS, and IDS/IPS solutions for their networking environments.

- Network Security Engineers (NSEs) involved in design, implementation and maintenance of Cisco Security solutions.
- Cisco customers who implement and maintain Cisco security solutions.
Prerequisites
- Valid CCNA Security certification, or
- Valid CCSP certification, or
- Valid CCNA certification plus SND exam pass
- Please note that CCNA Security certification must be valid to attend the CCNP Security training
