CCNP Voice (Cisco Certified Network Professional Voice)
Cisco Certified Network Professional Voice or CCNP Voice (otherwise known as CCVP) validates advance knowledge and skills required to integrate into underlying network architectures. This certification also authenticates robust skills in implementing, operating, configuring, and troubleshooting a converged IP network. This qualification focuses on Cisco Unified Communications Manager, quality of service, gateways, gatekeepers, IP phones, voice applications, and utilities on Cisco routers and Cisco Catalyst switches. Troubleshooting of Cisco Unified Communications applications are also now covered in the new CCNP Voice Qualification.
In the last three months there has been 1253 jobs all looking for candidates with this qualification. A salary with this qualification would be between £37,500 - £50,000.
Important information regarding CCNP Voice
On October 19, 2010, Learning@Cisco announced the evolution of the CCVP certification, renaming it CCNP Voice. The new CCNP Voice certification reflects alignment to Cisco's Unified Communications and Collaboration v8.0 solutions portfolio and aligns it with the latest courses and exams.
