Industry titans like Richard Branson and Steve Jobs have proven that there are many routes to achieving success – even incredible success – apart from the ‘traditional’ path of enrolling at the university, gaining a degree and then climbing the career ladder.
At 360 GSP we tend to agree – we constantly meet individuals working in low-paying jobs who succeed in greatly boosting their earning power and career prospects through one of our technology training courses.
Using free time to gain industry qualifications is a rite of passage for many working people who are looking to improve their prospects. David Lammy, the Labour MP for Tottenham wrote in the Evening Standard “My own mother — an unskilled working-class mum who was uncertain about her future — took an evening course in shorthand at the local college, stooping over her typewriter after long days working as a home help. Thirty years later, with her certificate still sitting pride of place on her living room wall, she retired from her position as a manager at Haringey council”.
Unlike those in the fortunate position of having their training funded, career-changers often have to balance financial, time and family commitments while also having to invest time to complete their courses. Some opt to sign up for our weekend classes, but in many cases, weekend learning conflicts with much needed family-time.
In order to accommodate more career-changers who want an assured path into the technology industry, we are excited to announce the roll-out of our part-time evening classes programme.
Career-changers will be able to use their weekday evenings to pursue IT Engineer paths as Microsoft and Cisco professionals or opt to become certified experts in an emerging technology such as Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services (AWS). We will also be training up the next generation of coders and digital marketing professionals through our Web Developer and Digital Marketing training and career programmes.
As well as preparing candidates to pass their industry certifications, 360 GSP’s training is geared towards giving candidates hands-on, practical skills that they can use from day one of employment. We have a dedicated recruitment team in place to give guidance on CV’s and interviews and finally to introduce candidates to our network of employers and recruiters.
Evening classes are usually held on a weekly basis at 6pm-9pm. If you would like to find out more about one of our technology career programmes, please call
